Decatur, Georgia rap artist Chang$ delivers the self-directed video for his latest single "Run Up The Check” that follows the day in the life of a young hustler and the obstacles that await him. Shot by GLS, the visual shows a hungry Chang$ who attempts to get money by any means necessary. After he makes a phone call to a plug who decides to give him a chance and put him on, he's faced with a challenge that puts his life in danger. As the plot unfolds, we learn that things aren’t always what they seem. “Run Up The Check” was directed and written by Chang$ himself and shows his range not only as an artist but a creative. Hopefully, this won’t be the last time we see him take the reigns as a director. Aside from the video, the song itself is an up-tempo trap-infused street anthem that will definitely put you in tune with your inner hustler.
